You’re doing a great job on the passive income and I especially like how you are doing with P2P lending. I began investing in dividend paying stocks in 2013, so I’m working on building my portfolio. I had $700 in dividend income in 2013 and have a goal of $1800 for 2014. Also just started with Lending Club, but just a small amount in notes so far.

We are indeed quite close, and as you point out, there are so many different way to accomplish a passive income goal. I am really excited to be on this journey and look forward to 2014 and beyond. As for P2P Lending in Canada, it will happen at some point as the industry gains global penetration.

Congrats on the passive income, writing2reality. You are that much closer to achieving financial independence.
Your annual passive income is so close to my own passive income from 2013 (mine was $2,682 but the comparison between our two passive income streams demonstrates how there are so many avenues to choose from. I’ve never tried lending club due to lack of service availability in Canada. You seem to be doing great with that!
