Over the last few months, while I’ve been conspicuously absent in the blogosphere, my investing and pursuit of happiness has certainly not changed course. During my online absence, I married a stunningly beautiful girl who (surprisingly) can tolerate, and even appreciate, my quirks and poor humor. Needless to say, between the combining of two lives and the logistics associated with such a combination, I needed to take a step back from the demands of blogging regularly to focus on life’s priorities.
Going forward, I will be getting back to posting somewhat regularly, catching up on some of my portfolio changes and other investment updates, as well as exploring different aspects of the types of investments I love to write about, dividend growth and peer to peer lending.
I hope everyone has enjoyed summer so far and has much success with their investments. I look forward to continuing this journey with all of you!
W2R,
Big Congratulations on tying the knot, that’s wonderful life changing news! It’s great to hear from you again and welcome back to the blogosphere. I’m very much looking forward to your updates.
All my best,
Ryan
Thanks Ryan!
Congrats on the marriage! I can’t blame you at all for taking the time to focus on your new family. Family is a big reason that most of us are on the journey to financial independence to begin with.
Amen to that JC… Family is extremely important and should never be forgotten in the journey towards FI!
Congratulations! I’m still keeping my eye open for mine.
Best of luck in finding that special one Scott!

Way to go! I’d also say that life handed her a really smart guy.
Again, I’m glad you didn’t throw in the towel. Your absences make me nervous.
Wow, I appreciate that Mr. 1500! No need to get nervous, I’m always lurking, even if I’m not posting!
